life, therefore, the need to lay special emphasis on good health that
can be enhanced with sports. The sports play key role in ones life. It
energized the mind and body to take jest of life, said legendary Indian
cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.
Tendulkar was speaking after inaugurating the annual sports meet of Bantara Sangha Mumbai which was organized for the first time by its regional Committee at Dr D Y Patil University grounds, Nerul, Navi Mumbai, here on Sunday January 12.
Maharashtra state excise minister and Thane district-in-charge minister Ganesh Naik was the chief guest of the occasion.

The athletes of Bombay Bunts Association, JAVAB, Mulund Bunts, Thane Bunts, Mira – Dahanu Bunts and Bunts Forum Mira Road participated in the sports meet on the occasion.
Bunts Sangh president chartered accountant Shankar B Shetty welcomed the gathering. Karnoor Mohan Rai and Ashok Pakkala compered the programme. Jaya A Shetty, Ikala Gunapal Shetty and Vijay Shetty were the referees of sports meet. The chartered accountant Sadashiv B Shetty proposed vote of thanks.
