Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) said this was their way to pay tribute to the cricketer on his final Test series.
CAB will also distribute masks of Sachin on the first day of the match to all spectators, posters on the second day and 199 balloons with his name on the third day. There will be a book release on day four, said Biswaroop Dey, honourary treasurer, CAB.
The test match will be played at the stadium from November 6-10.
The pitch too will be dedicated to batsmen.
"It'll be a moment of pride. He will be able to hit fours and sixes. The pitch will be tailor-made for batsman," said pich curator Prabir Mukherjee.
But he said rain might affect the pitch.
But Dey refused to divulge more, saying the Mumbai Cricket Association might copy their ideas.
"Whatever we do, Mumbai copies us. We gave antique gold coins to Sachin, they also gave him new gold coins. We gave him a portrait by artist Sanatan Dinda, now they will also give him a portrait. If we disclose our plans, they will again do what we're doing," he said.
